Velvet Cupcakes - In the making

I can't believe I did it! I finally bake cupcakes! If you know me really well, I suck at cooking. Real suck even though I know how to cook. But because of unpassionate cooking, I believe the outcome will suck too. Since I am a sucker for cakes, I've decided to bake it on my own. With no extra help and just me myself... and I.

So I had Laura in the Kitchen on my laptop to guide me through my very first baking experience. She's AMAZING! Her steps are so simple and so easy to follow!

At first, I was quite reluctant to do it, knowing that whenever I attempt to cook something, it will always be disastrous or else I blew up the kitchen. -,- With Laura, this just prove me that I can bake! HAH! Sexcited.

While I was doing the mixtures, I kept on rewinding Laura's youtube page just to make sure it look exactly the same as hers! Then I'll pause to certain steps that I might think she's doing it too fast. Overall, I had fun with her in the kitchen! In fact, she have a whole lot of collection of recipes and youtube videos to demo!

Voila! The Cupcake is UP! My face and expression was priceless! Even though I had no one to share my *chicken dance* after achieving my mission to bake, I was overly excited and immediately woke my mom up! It only took 15 minutes and my cake is all done! Laura told me it would take about 15 to 20 minutes to bake. But always check it after 15 minutes. And I think because I pre-heated the oven much much earlier, that's the reason why my cupcake baked beautifully. And yup, it's delish.
